Fiddle Leaf Fig Care

Light:

Fiddle Leaf Figs want bright, indirect light. Place your plant a few feet away from a bright, sunny window to keep it happy.

Water:

Let your plant go dry between waterings. For 10" plants, water about every 7-10 days. For 14" plants, every 10-14 days.

Completely saturate your plant when you water it. It's ok for some water to run out of the bottom and sit in the saucer as long as it's reabsorbed within a few hours.

Note: Keep your fiddle leaf fig away from cold or hot drafts including air vents.

Maintain:

Periodically wipe dusty leaves so that photosynthesis will not be interrupted. Fertilize with a calcium rich fertilizer spring through fall.

Brown spots on the leaves, or leaves dropping off, can both be signs of trouble. Come talk to us so we can help you troubleshoot!
